Parents as Teachers

Parents As Teachers

Parents as Teachers is a relationship-based and parenting-focused program. Parents as Teachers is brought to parents in their homes by trained parent educators whose goal is to help them build on their own strengths.  The Parents as Teachers model includes four components:
1. Personal Visits – individualized, focused on child development
2. Resource Network -  Network of resources available
3. Group Connections  - an opportunity for parents to share
4. Screening – tools to help parents understand their child’s development

The parent educator personalizes information for each visit to fit your family’s needs, concerns, and hopes.  Goals will be discussed to help build on each child’s strengths and skills.  Each visit lasts a hour and is held monthly.

Play Group weekly on Tuesdays at 9:00 to 10:00
