The Dighton Public Schools Foundation supports the students, staff, and programs of USD 482 Dighton by providing resources and opportunities that empower learning, achievement, and long-term success.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Foundation helps fund educational opportunities beyond what public funding allows. From scholarships and student enrichment to staff support, we are proud to stand behind our schools and the people who make them exceptional.

Est. 1990

Dighton USD 482 serves approximately 250 students in our rooted, rural Kansas community. With your help, we can continue to offer unique opportunities that support student growth, celebrate teacher dedication, and build on the legacy of excellence in our district.

The Foundation has supported a variety of meaningful projects, both large and small, that directly impact our students and staff. These have included:

Classroom art supplies

Playground equipment

Music department materials

Scholarships that help our high school students earn college credit

If you’d like to designate your gift to a specific area, please indicate your preference when giving:

• Unrestricted – Support the Foundation’s mission wherever the need is greatest
• Student Scholarships – Help students pursue college credits
• Classroom or Curriculum Enrichment – Provide funding for learning materials, teaching tools, or innovative classroom projects
• Athletics and Extracurricular Activities – Help ensure students have access to equipment, uniforms, travel, and team-building programs
• Teacher Support and Recognition – Celebrate and assist the educators who go above and beyond for our students
